Hammers

Hammers are the heavy melee weapon of the Mercenary, alongside Sword and Shield. A Hammer build trades reach and defense for raw impact: weighty blows, stagger pressure, and punishing an enemy’s mistakes with Super Armor and forward dashes. The Hammer answers exposed openings hard, which makes it the more aggressive of the Mercenary’s two weapon choices — ideal for players who want to close distance, plant heavy hits, and break the enemy’s rhythm.
