Mistfall Hunter Path of Glory Ranked Mode
Path of Glory is the ranked mode of Mistfall Hunter, introduced with the official launch. It replaces the beta-era leaderboards — the Hunt, Gylden Hunt, and Demon Hunt rankings — with a single seven-tier ranked system that runs inside the normal PvPvE matches.
The seven tiers
Path of Glory features seven major tiers, from lowest to highest:
| Tier | Name |
|---|---|
| 1 | Duskborn |
| 2 | Mistwalker |
| 3 | Dawnseeker |
| 4 | Fateweaver |
| 5 | Oracle |
| 6 | Exalted |
| 7 | Zenith |
How to unlock and enable it
Path of Glory unlocks at character level 6. Before a match starts, each Gyldhunter freely chooses whether to enable Path of Glory for that match. The setting is independent for each squad member — your teammates can opt in or out on their own — and enabling ranked mode does not change the game’s underlying matchmaking rules. Ranked players stay in the same matchmaking pool as everyone else; there is no separate ranked queue.
How rank points work
During a match, the following award Rank Points at match settlement:
- Successful extraction
- Defeating monsters
- Completing tasks
- Acquiring assets
The actions that yield points, and how many, vary depending on your current tier. Notably, only failed extractions deduct points, and each match has a per-match point cap. Because progression is tied to extraction and objective play rather than kills alone, community guides describe consistent, careful runs as more valuable than raw aggression for climbing.
Milestone rewards and the Fateweaver gate
Every time you advance to a major tier, you can claim corresponding milestone rewards, with higher tiers unlocking exclusive cosmetics. The climb also gets harder at the top: once you reach Fateweaver I, Normal difficulty matches no longer grant Rank Points, so you must venture into higher-difficulty modes — such as Chaos or Cataclysm — to keep climbing.
Server-wide points leaderboard
Alongside Path of Glory, Bellring Games launched a server-wide points leaderboard that ranks accounts by their total accumulated points. The leaderboard automatically identifies each account’s most-played class, and players who reach Zenith have their exact point totals displayed publicly.
Community notes
Path of Glory shipped with the game’s launch on July 30, 2026, so player discussion is still early. What exists so far:
- Guide sites (such as metamist.io and exitlag.com) break down the tier list and the point economy, and they note that ranked play keeps the same matchmaking as normal play.
- Community tier lists and class ranking articles are aimed at climbing, with the Mercenary recommended as a safe pick and the Shadowstrix and Blackarrow described as strong solo PvP classes in early rankings.
- Several guides advise players to treat pre-Level 6 as a tutorial phase and to avoid reckless extraction attempts once Path of Glory is active, since failed extractions cost points.
