Can you play Mistfall Hunter solo? Yes — the game lets you queue into a run alone and never forces you to form a squad. But solo play in Mistfall Hunter does not mean offline, does not mean PvE-only, and is generally harder than running with a crew. The game is an online PvPvE extraction ARPG, so a solo run still shares the map with rival Gyldhunters.
