Hallowgrove
Hallowgrove is a location in Mistfall Hunter, an open forest region that has no conventional shrinking zone, so the pressure from the Gyldenmist is greatly reduced and players can roam freely instead of watching the safe area. The Divine Anchor and the woodland ruins stand at the center of the region, while dense vegetation and layered terrain create a mysterious atmosphere. It is described as a recommended first destination for new Gyldhunters.
Modes
Normal

- Corruption Level: Normal
- Difficulty: ★★☆☆☆ (2 of 5 stars)
- Equipment Quality Requirement: Excellent or lower
- Allowed Combat Bags: Novice, Advanced, Pro
- Revival Count: 1
Compared with regions fully consumed by corruption, Normal Hallowgrove still keeps a measure of peace, and extraction is relatively easy. Danger is still hidden throughout the forest, but most creatures have not completely lost control yet, so hunters still have a chance to search the area and get away beneath the watch of the Divine Anchor.
Chaos

- Corruption Level: Chaos
- Difficulty: ★★★★☆ (4 of 5 stars)
- Equipment Value Requirement: 1,000 or higher
- Equipment Quality Requirement: Legendary or lower
- Allowed Combat Bags: Advanced, Pro, Elite
- Revival Count: 1
Uncontrolled souls and the Gyldenmist have become intertwined, dragging all of Hallowgrove into chaos. Monsters have grown increasingly violent, previously peaceful areas keep mutating, and the souls trapped in the forest are slowly losing what remains of their human form. This is no longer simply a forest, but a nightmare that continues to spread.
Landmarks and Points of Interest
Hallowgrove’s open forest hides several objectives that drive most of what you do on the map:
- The Divine Anchor — the central landmark of the region. It is the site of Hallowgrove Chaos’s boss encounter, the Cursed Moonwane (see Bosses), reached through the Soul Experiment questline, and the mid-season Ancestor Tree treasure mechanic also appears here.
- Hastine’s Fall — one of the two high-value landmark zones community farming guides point to for legendary loot, and one of the most contested spots on the map (see Best Farming Spots).
What to Hunt and Farm
- General Harald — the Mist Lord of Hallowgrove Chaos, fought through the Secrets quest. See the General Harald boss guide.
- Safe farming — Hallowgrove Normal is the community’s top pick for early- and mid-game farming because it has no shrinking zone; see Best Farming Spots for the route.
- Chaos entry — Hallowgrove Chaos asks for 1,000+ equipment value and Legendary-or-lower quality, so it is the first Chaos map most hunters gear toward.
