Sword and Shields

Sword and Shield is the defensive weapon pairing of the Mercenary, alongside the Hammer. It supplies the class’s blocking tools: perfect parries, Shield Dash, and balanced close-range pressure, trading some of the Hammer’s raw impact for survivability and control. Sword and Shield play rewards timing — blocking frontal damage, parrying at the right moment, and turning a deflected attack into a counter. It is the Mercenary pick for players who want to anchor the front line and protect teammates.
