  3. From there you can change your body type, gender, face, hair, tattoos, and everything else the editor offers.

Player walkthroughs confirm you can do this anytime at the camp before starting a run — the change is free and unlimited, so experiment freely. Changing outfits and skins is a separate, also-free system layered on top.
