Mistfall Hunter Gyldenblod — How to Get, Pool & Spirit Infusion

Mistfall Hunter Gyldenblod is the game’s main raid-earned gold currency. You get it by defeating monsters, looting chests and containers, killing rival Gyldhunters, completing Journey quests, and selling gear — then spend it at shops, the Forge, and the Gyldenblod Pool, which also unlocks Spirit Infusion.

Gyldenblod (also “Gyldenblood” in some Steam materials) is Mistfall Hunter’s gold — the primary loot-linked progression currency. SkyCoach calls it “the basic currency in the game, aka ‘gold,’” and community databases describe it as a hard currency used for trading. Gathered Gyldenblod sits in your Gylden Jar (starting capacity 200) during a raid and only counts once it is banked at camp — die before extracting and you lose what you were carrying (mistfallhunters.wiki; SkyCoach).

It is earned almost entirely in raids and resets by season, which separates it from the game’s premium and real-money currencies.

The Gyldenblod Pool is the camp building that governs your gold capacity and endgame alt-leveling. It has nine upgrade levels; each level raises how much Gyldenblod you can bank and carry, eventually adding character slots (mistfalldb.com; SkyCoach).

The headline unlock is Spirit Infusion, which lets you level a newly created character up to max by spending Gyldenblod instead of replaying the campaign. Community guides report it requires upgrading the Pool to level 4 with an existing level-12 character before it becomes available (gladiatorboost; SkyCoach; mistfalldb.com).

The Gylden Rush Event and the August 2026 EconomyPermalink to this section

The Gylden Rush was Mistfall Hunter’s flagship launch event: a limited-time gold and reward event that ran July 30 – August 10, 2026 (until 23:59:59 UTC). Players collected Golden Ciphers, plus the rarer Ancestral and Mystic Ciphers, and deciphered them at camp for prize rolls that included an Alienware gaming PC grand prize (mmoexp; GameRant; Ciphers guide).

The event has now ended. Its ciphers can no longer be redeemed, so post-event Gyldenblod income falls back to ordinary expedition drops, chests, quests, and trading — plus any remaining Ashen and Abyssal Ciphers from launch mail (that mail expired September 1).   • “Gold Rush” is an official trophy/achievement. The console trophy list includes Gold Rush — “Extract 10,000 Gyldenblod worth of loot” (per TrueTrophies/TrueAchievements), so the game itself tracks single-extract hauls. Bank 10,000+ Gyldenblod in one successful extract to clear it.
  • Early-August farming guides converged on one loop. Community write-ups (Phrasemaker, Neonsect, and other early-August guides) all land on the same core: golden zones and container sweeps on Hallowgrove Normal, blue (Journey) quest resets, Richie the Merchant resells, and never overfilling the Gylden Jar (200 base) so no gold is left behind.
